About Russell
Born in Brooklyn in 1962, Russell D. Mauro is a skilled personal injury attorney with a passion for serving his clients. After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Pre-Med Studies from Long Island University C.W. Post Campus in 1984, he went on to earn his law degree from Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center four years later.
Over the years, Russell has worked as trial counsel for various firms with a concentration on personal injury, including motor vehicle accidents, tractor trailer accidents, labor law and scaffolding cases, premises injuries, and other complex litigation matters. As a seasoned attorney, he has resolved thousands of cases against private, corporate, and municipal defendants and has successfully argued cases before the Appellate Division Second Department.
When not trying cases, Russell performs risk management quality control reviews for a variety of corporations. Only if a recovery is obtained will there be a fee. Russell also does a great deal of pro-bono and charity work as a way to give back to the community.
